He loved the big animals... Tigers, Zebras, Camels... But NOT the petting zoo :)
He didn't enjoy the goats much... I thought he would love it!

Petting zoos scare him, but sitting on the ledge of a castle overlooking a village is fun!
I took my parents to the Rhine River to see some castles and do a River Cruise. Here is a castle we stopped at and explored...

The view from the boat was so amazing... you could see castles everywhere and the leaves are starting to change here so it made it so beautiful.
My dad has a photo of his father in approximately this same spot along the Rhine River from WWII. So we made sure to get one of him there also!
